Support shaped around your family
Three ways of working, often used alongside each other. We will talk through what fits best before anything is agreed.
Individual therapy
A regular, private hour that belongs entirely to your child or young person. We use whatever helps them express themselves: talking, drawing, stories, sand, or simply sitting with something difficult until it feels less heavy.
Younger children often show us what is going on through play. Teenagers usually want somewhere they can be completely honest without worrying about upsetting anyone. Both are welcome here.

- Sessions are usually at the same time each week, which helps them feel predictable and safe.
- Parents and carers are met separately at regular points to think together about progress.

Family sessions
Sometimes the most useful thing is for everyone to be in the room together. Family sessions give you a calm, neutral space to say the things that are hard to say at home, with someone alongside you to help the conversation stay kind.
These sessions can help when a family is going through change, when the same argument keeps repeating, or when parents and carers simply want support in understanding what their child is trying to tell them.

- Who comes along is flexible. It might be everyone, or just the people it would help most.
- No one is put on the spot, and nobody is treated as the problem.

School consultations
For teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams who are holding a lot. Consultation is a protected space to think about a particular pupil, or about a situation in a class that keeps escalating, and to work out what might genuinely help.
When a child is already in therapy, and with the family's agreement, I can also work alongside school so that the adults around them are joined up rather than pulling in different directions.
